SwiftBroadband is a satellite-based service that allows you to use your laptop, PDA or smartphone to securely log on to your corporate network, transfer data and send/receive email. You can also use it to surf the Internet or simply place phone calls. SwiftBroadband gives you access to virtually everything you have in your home office, even as you are cruising miles above it, in places far away from home. Faster, lighter and more affordable than previous global technology, it makes inflight connectivity a reality for virtually any business aircraft.

SwiftBroadband is Inmarsat’s latest generation of aeronautical service designed to deliver global inflight voice and data connectivity. It operates on three geostationary (Inmarsat I-4) satellites in orbit 22,000 miles above the earth and provides near-global coverage.
