Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position will gather and analyze documentation and data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This will include writing & reviewing test plans, test cases, and user scenarios. This individual will work closely with cross functional Engineering, Business, IT teams, vendors and stakeholders. The QA Analyst will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help the continuous testing process improvements needed to remain flexible in test scope and coverage for assurance of best quality.
Serve various Software Quality Assurance & Testing functions such as but not limited to, Analyst, Hands-on tester, or UAT support.
Supports Web System, software integration, and End to End testing tasks to assure customer satisfaction with application accuracy, quality, and adherence to regulatory, industry and Aircell
Standards.
- Analyze Requirements (Business, technical, Design, functional) documents to develop testing data/assets and contribute to Test strategies.
- Create, track, maintain and execute functional and technical test plans, test cases, manual and automated test scripts, based on test & user scenarios for airborne & and ground based portal and all supporting systems/components.
- Collaborate and support Business, Development, Operations and Customer Care support teams to improve Quality in product delivery.
Qualifications
Ability to prioritize competing demands in minor/patch/hot fix releases
Experience working with the following technologies: Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio, VMWare, Remedy, CMS, FatWire, Jboss/Apache servers, Linux, SharePoint, TSL scripting, SQL.
Preferred: Expert level experience with Quality Center 9.0/10.0. Intermediate/expert knowledge and hands on experience in coding descriptive scripts for QTP, intermediate knowledge of Load runner.
Responsibilities:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to complex details, architecture, and workflow.
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and QA Best Practices.
- Passionate about Quality of work and desire to learn.
Required Education:
- BS degree in computer science, mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing in a complex environment comprising of multiple 3rd party applications, using manual and automated testing technologies.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages a plus.
- SQE, QC, TD, QTP& LR other testing certifications preferred
